Farzaneh Rezaei

Iranian American Entrepreneur. I was born in Tehran and moved to U.S.A in 2003. After obtaining PhD from Penn State in Biological Engineering I worked for UC-Davis for 3 years before joining the industry as a scientist first and then in a leadership role. In 2023, I founded my company, FafaBiotic. The mission of this company is to reduce mild to moderate skin health issues by half by the year 2023. We are aiming to achieve that via live-cell probiotic applied as a topical product that not only provides therapeutic but also provides mental satisfaction by giving a patient a feeling of glamour from its packaging to its smell to its feeling on the skin. Besides being a scientist and a founder, I am a mom to 2 beautiful kids, Ryan and Nicole. Together with my husband, Dr. Hudson Ashrafi, we all live in Cary NC.
