Farzaneh Firooznia

"My name is Farzaneh Firooznia. I received my Master of Science in Nursing in Iran. I was employed as a supervisor in a major general hospital in Iran for ten years. Meanwhile, I taught Medical-Surgical Nursing in three different colleges. I got married and left Iran 21 years ago. I have not worked since then as I have been engaged in raising my children and traveling around the world. I have three lovely boys (18, 16, and 14 years old) and a wonderful husband. We moved to the U.S., California, almost four years ago. I love traveling, hiking, and biking with my family. I started the Doctor of Nursing Practitioner (DNP) program nearly three years ago at the University of Massachusetts Global. I am now working on my clinical scholarly project and will be graduating in December 2021.
