About
Sarvenaz is a dedicated researcher, currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a focus on the mental health of menopausal employees in male-dominated industries. Before her Ph.D., Sarvenaz conducted extensive research on the discrimination experienced by women in male-dominated industries. Her passion for understanding and addressing the challenges faced by underrepresented groups in the workplace has been a driving force throughout her academic journey.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Sarvenaz has also explored her creative side through an Associate Diploma in Filmmaking from the Iranian Youth Cinema Society. This experience allowed her to communicate complex ideas and narratives through the powerful medium of film, further enhancing her ability to convey her research findings effectively.
As a first-generation graduate student, Sarvenaz is passionate about using her platform to amplify underrepresented voices and experiences. Her interdisciplinary approach combines clinical, organizational, and creative perspectives to better understand the challenges that women, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds, encounter in male-dominated workplaces.
